Internal organ
All organs with the exception of the musculoskeletal system and the border organ, the skin , are referred to as internal organs in the broader sense . In the narrower and more commonly used sense, it means the organs located in the chest and abdominal cavity . All of these organs are functionally part of one or more organ systems .
They thus include:
