Innerfeldtal
The Innerfeldtal ( Italian Val Campo di Dentro ) is a small, from Sextental near the dam of the Sesto Bach branching off to the south, not open einsehbares, elongated, sickle-shaped side valley in the eastern part of South Tyrol . It belongs to the community of San Candido and largely to the Drei Zinnen nature park .
Location and importance
The Innerfeldtal leads between Haunold and Birkenkofel in the west and the Dreischusterspitze in the east into the Sesto Dolomites . It can be reached via the “Gwengwiesen” car park and the one in the valley that gives it its name.
The valley is known nationwide for its scenic beauty, especially its larch meadows in the valley entrance and the biodiversity of flowers that is also present there , and leads into the Drei Zinnen nature park , past some peaks of the Sexten sundial . From the Innerfeldtal car park ( 1509 m ) you can reach the common ground of the Dreischusterspitze and its Gsell. After an ascent through a chimney-like channel secured with wire ropes, the valley also provides a view of the striking Three Peaks .
Long-distance hiking trails 105 to the Gwengalpenjoch ( 2246 m ), hiking trails 8 over the Birkenschartl ( 2540 m ) and 10 over the Großes Wildgrabenjoch ( 2289 m ) or the Schwalbenkofel ( 2856 m ) all flow into this valley. In the 10er the 9er flows over the Lückele-Scharte ( 2545 m ) and along the Mitteralpsee .
At the end of the valley is the Dreischusterhütte ( Italian: Rifugio Tre Scarperi).
