The Inselbach is an orographically right tributary of the Adenbach in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Roth, almost half a kilometer long .
course
The Inselbach rises in the natural area of Moschelhöhen in the North Palatinate mountainous region at an altitude of 393 m above sea level. NHN in the corridor of the same name in a strip of forest at the southern foot of the 344.3 m high Eichelberg is a good kilometer south of the Becherbach district of Roth . Its source lies directly on the district boundary of Bad Kreuznach zu Kusel, just in the area of the local community of Adenbach, which is part of the district of Kusel .
The stream first flows in a south-westerly direction in a forest strip through a notch valley between the Eichelberg on the right and the hill Krämmel ( 356.2 m ) on the left along the circle border and then flows into the Flur Am Damm at a height of about 249 m from the right into the Adenbach coming from the south .
Data
The Inselbach drains over the Adenbach , Odenbach , Glan , Nahe and Rhine into the North Sea . The height difference from its source to its mouth is 44 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of about 91 ‰ over a length of 486 m.
