The Inselbach is an orographically right tributary of the Adenbach in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Roth, almost half a kilometer long .

The Inselbach rises in the natural area of Moschelhöhen in the North Palatinate mountainous region at an altitude of 393  m above sea level. NHN in the corridor of the same name in a strip of forest at the southern foot of the 344.3  m high Eichelberg is a good kilometer south of the Becherbach district of Roth . Its source lies directly on the district boundary of Bad Kreuznach zu Kusel, just in the area of ​​the local community of Adenbach, which is part of the district of Kusel .

The stream first flows in a south-westerly direction in a forest strip through a notch valley between the Eichelberg on the right and the hill Krämmel ( 356.2  m ) on the left along the circle border and then flows into the Flur Am Damm at a height of about 249  m from the right into the Adenbach coming from the south .

The Inselbach drains over the Adenbach , Odenbach , Glan , Nahe and Rhine into the North Sea . The height difference from its source to its mouth is 44 m, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of about 91 ‰ over a length of 486 m.
