The Instituut voor Tropische Geneeskunde (short: ITG , also known as Prins Leopold Instituut voor Tropische Geneeskunde ) is a Belgian institute for training and research in tropical medicine and for the organization of health care in developing countries. It is based in Antwerp .

IGT specializes in biomedical, clinical, and public health research, training, and travel medicine. It also offers outpatient, clinical and preventive services for tropical pathologies and sexually transmitted diseases. It is recognized by the World Health Organization as a reference center for AIDS research and a national and international reference center for a number of diseases and pathogens (such as the Ebola virus).
