The FC Internațional Curtea de Argeş was a Romanian football club from Curtea de Argeş .

history

The association was founded in 2000 by the Romanian businessman Benone Lazar as FC Internaţional Pitesti founded and launched by the Bundesliga's third-highest division, the Divizia C . As the first place in the 2000/01 season, the club rose to Divizia B in its first season . The club spent the next three years in the second highest league and each achieved placements in the secured midfield of the table. After the club stayed away from the game for two years, it was renamed to the current name FC Internațional Curtea de Argeș in 2007 . In September 2008 Ștefan Stoica took over from Liviu Ciobotariu as coach. The 2008/09 season was finished in second place and thus secured the first promotion to League 1 . In the first half of the 2009/10 season , the club carried its games in the Stadionul Mioveni in Mioveni and in the second half of the season in the Stadionul Nicolae Dobrin in Pitesti . On December 24, 2009 coach Stoica was replaced by Ionuț Badea .

After just one season, Benone Lazar, the club's patron, retired from football. Internațional was then no longer admitted to League 1 in the summer of 2010 and left the starting place to the sporty relegated Pandurii Târgu Jiu . The financial security could not be guaranteed for the League II, so that the sporty relegated Mureșul Deva was allowed to remain in the League II. The FC Internațional Curtea de Argeş then rose voluntarily to League IV and finished there in the season of the Argeş district after the end of the first half of the season. In the winter break of 2010/11, the club disbanded and was replaced in Liga IV for the second half of the season by Școala de Fotbal Dani Coman Piteşti .
