International Network of Street Papers

The International Network of Street Papers (INSP) was founded in 1994 on the initiative of the London newspaper The Big Issue .

Members are publishers of street newspapers , there is a global exchange of images, experiences and ideas.

The INSP organizes annual conferences, supports newspapers in developing countries with start-ups and operates its own Street News Service.

The Homeless World Cup has been taking place under the auspices of the INSP since 2003 .

In 2016 there were 112 publishers members:

  • from 35 countries
  • in 24 languages
  • with a total of 11,000 sellers
  • with a total circulation of 5.6 million copies
