The 22nd International Women's Tour of Thuringia took place from July 21 to 26, 2009 in the east of Thuringia . Six stages led around the cities of Altenburg , Gera , Schleiz , Triebes , Schmölln and Greiz .

The overall winner was Linda Villumsen from Denmark, ahead of Marianne Vos from the Netherlands and Susanne Ljungskog from Sweden .
