International Jazz Prize of the Nürnberger Nachrichten
The Nürnberger Nachrichten International Jazz Prize was donated by Bruno Schnell , the newspaper's publisher.
The prize is endowed with 5000 euros and was first awarded in 1998. An expert jury, which consists of eleven members, decides on the award of the prize. A new jury is put together for each announcement of the prize.
