The prophylls are elongated or almost ovate, scaly and almost hairless, they have a length of 2 to 2.5 mm. The sepals are rounded, cut off or slightly bulged or slightly pointed. The outer sepals are about 7 mm long, the inner ones about 10 mm long. The crown is funnel-shaped, about 4 to 5 cm long and hairy glandular tomentose around the stamens . The stamens come in two lengths of 1.5 and 2 cm and are attached about 6 mm above the crown base. The base of the stamens is somewhat flattened. The anthers are 6 mm long.
