Ippingen is a district of the municipality of Immendingen in the Tuttlingen district in Baden-Württemberg (Germany).

Geographical location
Ippingen is located in the Ostbaar below the Lindenberg (948 m), the Himmelberg (940 m) and the Osterberg (921 m) in the Weisenbachtal. The place itself is about 800 m above sea level and has a district area of 10.64 km². Of this, 10.30 km² are forest.
history
The place is due to its first documentary mention in 880 as the oldest place in the municipality of Immendingen. The ending " -ingen " indicates an Alemannic foundation. At Ippingen there are the remains of the Heidenburg , a hill fort .
On January 1, 1973, the district of Donaueschingen was dissolved on the occasion of the Baden-Württemberg district reform. Ippingen came to the enlarged district of Tuttlingen.
On December 1, 1974, Ippingen was incorporated into the Immendingen community.

- The Ippinger parsonage was named " Monument of the Month August / September 2007" by the Monument Foundation Baden-Württemberg .
- Church of St. Priska, completed in 1614
- Ippinger Mühle, burned down in 1929 and rebuilt as a sawmill without a mill
- Ippinger Zehntscheuer, built around 1625, called the "Riese der Baar"
