Something is a song by the German singer Yvonne Catterfeld and the singer Bengio . It was released on December 9, 2016 as the first single from Cattefeld's seventh studio album, Guten Morgen Freiheit , released on March 10, 2017 . Catterfeld presented the single in the final show of the sixth season of The Voice of Germany .
Music video
The music video for the song was shot in the Carpathian Mountains and also released on December 9, 2016. It shows Catterfeld and Bengio how, among other things, they walk in the snow.
Charts and chart placements
Something first rose to rank 87 in the German single charts. A week later, the single rose to number 27 and stayed in the charts for a total of nine weeks. It is Catterfeld's longest-placed single since 2006. In Austria the title reached rank 17. In Switzerland the song was placed for one week at number 41. For Bengio this is the first and so far only chart success.
