Irka Bochenko

Irka Bochenko (* 1960 or 1961 in Wroclaw , Poland ) is an actress who is also known as a singer and songwriter under the pseudonym Iren Bo .

Live and act

Irka Bochenko was born in Wroclaw. When she was six years old, she moved to France with her parents. She began writing music and lyrics at the age of 14.

She started her professional career as a model and worked for various agencies a. a. in Paris, New York and Tokyo. Her photos have been published in well-known magazines such as Elle , Cosmopolitan and Vogue around the world . In Japan she represented France in the “Miss Youth International” election.

Bochenko started her acting career in the 1977 film Bilitis in the role of Prudence. This was followed by an appearance in an episode of the television series L'inspecteur mène l'enquête , before she had a small appearance in Moonraker in 1979 : She played the receptionist at Venini Glass. The next documented appearances as an actress will not take place again until 2002 in various French television series.

In the meantime, Bochenko himself published records under the pseudonym "Iren Bo" and wrote songs that were recorded by artists such as Tina Arena , Garou , Mireille Mathieu , Patrick Fiori , L5 , Julie Zenatti and others.

The song La coco-dance , written by J. Woodfeel and Iren Bo and interpreted by Séverine Ferrer , was the Monegasque contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. The song did not reach the finals.

In 2012 Bochenko wrote the song Happy Birthday Mr. Bond for the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film series and recorded it with Roger Moore .
