Isaac Broid Zajman

Isaac Broid Zajman (born November 20, 1952 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican architect and designer.

biography

Broid studied at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Universidad Iberoamericana with J. Francisco Serrano Cacho and Carlos Mijares Bracho and completed his master's degree in design at Oxford Polytechnic , now Oxford Brookes University , in England. He then attended courses in landscape design at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and also graduated from the University of Edinburgh in the field of urban design and landscape planning.

His architectural work includes residential and office buildings, cultural objects and works in the field of urban planning and design.

He teaches architectural history at the Universidad Iberoamericana, where he is project course coordinator and professor for projects at the university. He is also a member of the publishing house of numerous architecture magazines and has been a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA) since 1999 . He took part in various national and international exhibitions.

Awards

Broid has received several awards for his work, including the Record Interior Award from the architecture magazine Arquitectural Record , the silver medal at the 1991 Biennale in Bulgaria and an honorary mention at the Mexican Architecture Biennale.
