Isabel Delemarre (* 21st April 1978 in Karlsruhe as Isabel Werner ) is a musician and German chess player .

Isabel learned chess from her father when she was five. Together with her older sister Veronika, she took part in the 1994 Youth World Championships in Szeged . Veronika finished fifth in the girls 'U18, while Isabel took 16th place in the girls' U16.

In 1996, Isabel finished seventh at the U18 Girls' World Cup in Cala Galdana . In 1997 at the U20 European Youth Championship in Tallinn , Estonia , she was fifth behind Tatiana Kononenko and made her third WIM standard. In 1998 she received the title of International Women's Champion (WIM) from FIDE .

She was twice German youth champion in the U20 age group, female, in 1996 in Halle (Saale) and 1998 in Schierke . At the 1998 Junior World Championships in Kalikut (India) she finished fourth, half a point behind third-placed Irina Krush . At the Dresden Open 1999 she achieved a women's grandmaster norm .

Isabel Delemarre has not played a rated game since she was deployed in the 2011/12 season of the women's Bundesliga and is therefore listed as inactive at FIDE.

Isabel Delemarre is a member of the Karlsruhe Chess Friends and was registered in the women's Bundesliga between 1996 and 2013, but was only used sporadically from 2003. In the Dutch Meesterklasse Delemarre had in the 2003/04 season, a bet with the Master ZZICT / De Variant Breda .

Her sister Veronika Kiefhaber (* 1976) is also a WIM, her father Clemens Werner (* 1946) is a FIDE master , international master in correspondence chess and German senior champion 2010 .

In 2005 she passed her exams as a soprano at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag . In 2011 she recorded the CD "Sweeter Than Roses" together with David Jansen (organ, harpsichord). In 2000 she moved to the Netherlands and has lived in Hamburg since 2014 .
