Isabel Hindersin
Isabel Hindersin (* 1967 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish-German actress and opera singer ( soprano ).
Life
Isabel Hindersin grew up bilingually in Barcelona and attended the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich from 1988 to 1992 , after which she trained as a singer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and the Cologne Opera Studio. She gained her first stage experience during her engagement at the Lucerne Theater from 1992 to 1995, after which she was engaged in the ensemble of the Schauspiel Köln until 1998 . Stations of her stage career were u. a. the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Schauspielhaus Berlin , the Grand théâtre de la ville de Luxembourg , the Münchner Kammerspiele , the Nationaltheater Mannheim , the Bad Hersfeld Festival, the Schwetzingen Festival, the Münster Opera, the Vorarlberger Landestheater in Bregenz.
Hindersin sang “Despina” in Così fan tutte by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart , “Luftgeist Philidel” in Henry Purcell's semi-opera King Arthur , “Eliza” in My fair Lady and the title role in Claudio Monteverdi's The Coronation of Poppea . In addition, she sang the German premiere of Birtwistles Io passion in 2008 at the Konzerthaus Berlin and the female lead in the opera Bacon at the Schwetzingen Festival in 2000 . In spoken theater, she embodied the "Gretchen" in Urfaust of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , "Nina" in Anton Chekhov's The Seagull , the eponymous Minna von Barnhelm of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing , "Amalie" in The Robbers , "Rosalind" in As You Like It , "Jelena Andreevna" in Uncle Vanya and the "Beauty" in The Great World Theater by Pedro Calderón de la Barca . Hindersin first directed a production of Così fan tutte at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia in 2013 .
Isabel Hindersin made her comrade debut in Sönke Wortmann's comedy Kleine Haie in 1992. Since then she has repeatedly worked for film and television, has appeared in various series such as Adelheid and her Murderers , Die Familienanwältin and two crime scene episodes. In the role of opera singer Lucia, she and her colleagues were awarded a "Silver Bear to the Drama Ensemble for Outstanding Achievement" at the Berlinale 2000 for the film "Paradiso" by Rudolf Thomé. In another film by Rudolf Thomé, The Red Room , Isabel Hindersin was represented as the goddess Venus at the Viennale 2010. In 2005, she played the role of Veronika Hellmann in six episodes of the series the chancellery , in 2009 she was in the award-winning feature film gravity of Maximilian Erlenwein to see well in 2010 in the Spanish series "Crematorio".
Isabel Hindersin has been professor for scenic teaching in the singing / music theater department at the Berlin University of the Arts since October 2016 . She lives in Berlin and Leipzig.
