Isaiah Mustafa

Isaiah Amir Mustafa (born February 11, 1974 in Portland , Oregon ) is an American film actor and former American football player .

Life

Mustafa was born in Portland in 1974 to Shahidah Mustafa-Davis and John Wali Mustafa, the youngest of seven children into a Muslim family. At the age of five, the American moved to Mission Viejo with his family .

A few years after the family moved, his father was killed in a car accident. He attended Santa Clara High School and later Santa Monica College before moving to Moorpark College . Isaiah Mustafa studied then history at Arizona State University , where he graduated 1995th In 2005 he made his first film appearance in The Island . Further film and especially television appearances followed. From 2016 to 2019 he was in the series Shadowhunters .

However, he gained particular fame through his impersonation as Mike Hanlon in the horror film ES Chapter 2 . Mustafa and his ex-wife have a daughter. Previously, he dated professional wrestler and actress Catherine Joy Perry, better known by her ring name Lana . He married longtime girlfriend Lisa Mitchell on May 26, 2018.
