Issak Tesfom Okubamariam (born February 28, 1991 ) is a former Eritrean cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2012 Issak Tesfom Okubamariam won a stage in the Tour of Algeria and the mountain classification. At the UCI Road World Championships 2013 in Florence , he finished 75th in the U23 class. Two months later, in December 2013 he was in Egypt's Sharm el-Sheikh African champions in the road race . He was able to repeat this success in 2016 and also won titles in the team time trial with the Eritrean national team ( Elyas Afewerki , Amanuel Gebreigzabhier and Mekseb Debesay ) .

In 2017 Okubamariam was the best African in the Tropicale Amissa Bongo , and the following year he won the mountain classification of this tour.
