Darren Lill (born August 20, 1982 in Cape Town ) is a former South African cyclist .

Athletic career

Darren Lill began his career in 2001 with the IBM-Lotus cycling team . In 2003 he switched to Team HSBC , where he won a stage of the Giro del Capo . In 2004 and 2005 he drove for the British team Barloworld .

In 2006 Lilli was the African road racing champion and tenth in the overall ranking of the UCI Africa Tour 2006 . In the same year he started the road race at the road cycling world championships in Salzburg , which he did not finish.

2011 was the most successful year for Darren Lill: At the African Games he won silver in the individual time trial , finished fourth in the road race and was the South African road champion. In 2012 he won the Tour of Rwanda . At the end of his international cycling career, he finished fourth in the South African road championship. He continues to race nationally and on mountain bike .
