Reinardt Janse van Rensburg (born February 3, 1989 in Virginia ) is a South African cyclist .
Athletic career
In 2009 Reinardt Janse van Rensburg was two-time African champion , in the team time trial and in the individual time trial of the U23, by finishing second in the time trial of the elite. The following year he won three silver medals at the African Championships , in the individual time trial, in the U23 individual time trial and in the team time trial. At the 2011 African Games , he won gold in the individual and team time trials and bronze in the road race.
From 2012 Janse van Rensburg also successfully competed in races outside Africa: He won the Tour de Bretagne , the Ronde van Overijssel , the Circuit de Wallonie , the Ronde van Zeeland Seaports and two stages of the Volta a Portugal . He also decided the Tour du Maroc for himself, and he became the South African champion in the individual time trial. In 2013 he won Binche-Tournai-Binche . In 2015 he was runner-up in the African team time trial, and in 2016 he won the Tour de Langkawi . In 2017 he became national road racing champion.
