Ian McLeod
Ian McLeod (born October 3, 1980 in Falkirk , Great Britain ) is a former South African racing cyclist .
Ian McLeod was born in Scotland but is also a South African citizen. His sporting career began in 2002 with Team HSBC . In 2003 he won the 94.7 Cycle Challenge for everyone . A year later he won, among other things, a stage of the Tour de la Manche . In 2008 he became the South African road racing champion . The following year he was two-time African champion , in road racing and in the team time trial .
In 2010, McLeod tested positive for Deflazacort during a doping control and was banned for six months. In 2012 he ended his cycling career.
