Rupert Rheeder

Rupert Rheeder (born November 19, 1976 in Barberton ) is a former South African racing cyclist .

In 2005 Ruper Rheeder drove for the Continental Team Exel . That year he was the African road race champion and won one stage of the Tour of Egypt and three of the Tour of Senegal . At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne , Australia , he was 12th in the single pursuit on the track. Together with his compatriots, he finished fifth in the team pursuit. In the overall ranking of the UCI Africa Tour 2006 he finished second behind Jérémie Ouédraogo from Burkina Faso. In 2007 he won three stages of the Tour of Egypt.
