Your job is to promote cultural events, the Italian language and culture in foreign countries as well as dialogue between artists and scientists .

profile

There are currently 93 Italian cultural institutes on five continents . They serve as a place of dialogue and meeting point for artists , intellectuals and other cultural representatives, but also for all Italian and foreign citizens who want to maintain or develop a relationship with Italy.

The Italian cultural institutes are also points of reference for the local Italian population abroad. At the same time, they also offer those interested the opportunity to get to know Italian culture. The Italian cultural institutes thus not only fulfill the function of a source of information about and a shop window for Italy. Rather, they support cultural collaborations, initiatives and activities. They complement the work of the Italian embassies and consulates on the cultural level and deal with all relevant aspects of Italy from antiquity to the present in their events.
