Iswor (also written Izvor , Bulgarian Извор , literally translated water source ) is a village in the municipality and province of the same name / Oblast Burgas in southeastern Bulgaria . Iswor is located in the northern foothills of the Strandscha Mountains around 12 km south of the Burgas community center and around 7 km south of Marinka , which is also the only road to the village.
In the vicinity of Isvor there are five small springs that flow together to form the Isvorska River. The European route 87 runs through the village from Burgas to Malko Tarnowo and on to Turkey . The transport company of the city of Burgas, Burgasbus, maintains regular connections to Isvor.
The annual village festival is celebrated on May 24th.
