Iuliu Alexandru Csepreghi (born March 28, 1987 in Baia Mare ) is a Romanian handball player .
Career
The 1.95 m tall and 100 kg heavy right-handed player mostly plays as a left backcourt player . First he ran in his hometown for HC Minaur Baia Mare, with whom he made his international debut in the 2005/06 EHF Cup . From 2007 he was under contract with the Romanian top club HCM Constanța , with whom he was six times champion and four times cup winners. He took part in the EHF Champions League in 2007/08, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13, reaching the round of 16 in 2009/10. In the 2008/09 European Cup Winners' Cup he made it to the quarter-finals. After missing the qualification for the top class in 2013/14, he reached the Final Four in the EHF Europe Cup 2013/14 in Berlin , where he finished fourth. With 52 goals he was the fifth top scorer. For the 2014/15 season he moved to the French club US Créteil HB .
Csepreghi is part of the Romanian national team . At the 2011 World Cup , he finished 18th. In total, he played at least 54 international matches in which he scored 148 goals.
