Iva Buric Zalac (also Iva Burić Žalac ; born August 1, 1978 in Slavonski Brod , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian singer, songwriter and actress. She performed alongside Achim Hagemann - alias Pawel Popolski - as Dorota Popolski in the band Der Familie Popolski .

Live and act

Zalac had success in her hometown Slavonski Brod at the age of 15. With her self-composed song Without Time , she conquered number 1 on the most famous radio station in the region, and she sang with her band as the opening act for the renowned Croatian singer and songwriter Gibonni . With her own songs in English with her band IVA, she reached the finals at the Emergenza newcomer competition in Germany in 2003 ; With her song I'm not scared she stayed in the top four of the top 100 of the "Gigamusic Internet Charts" for months.
