After the Second World War , he returned to Budapest in autumn 1945 and finished his art studies in 1946. After graduating, he worked as a graphic artist and published some woodcuts . Study visits took him to the GDR , Austria and Italy . In 1949 Percz became a member of the Hungarian Association of Graphic Artists . After the successes, Percz received a grant from the Hungarian goldsmiths and turned to the design of modernist costume jewelry.
