János József Székely (born May 13, 1983 in Timișoara , Timiș County ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Seregno Calcio since summer 2015 .

Club career

Universitatea Cluj

Universitatea Cluj signed Székely in 2003. He came to 90 games and 22 goals for Universitatea Cluj in four seasons.

Oțelul Galați

In July 2006 Oțelul Galați announced that he had signed Székely. He made his debut for Oțelul on February 23, 2007 against Unirea Urziceni . The game ended 3-2 for Oțelul Galați.

Steaua Bucharest

In 2008 Székely moved to Steaua Bucharest for around € 1,500,000 . In 2011 he won the Romanian Cup .

Volga Nizhny Novgorod

In the summer of 2011, Székely Steaua left and joined the Russian first division club Volga Nizhny Novgorod . There he only came to seven missions in just under a year and a half. At the beginning of April 2012, his contract was terminated.

Corona Kielce

At the end of April 2012 he signed a contract with the Polish first division club Korona Kielce . In December 2012, his contract was canceled after eight missions (one goal).

Return to Romania

In early 2013, Székely returned to Romania, where Universitatea Cluj signed him again. He was used eight times in the second half of the 2012/13 season . From summer 2013 he was without engagement for six months before first division club FC Brașov signed him in early 2014 . After eight appearances in the second half of the 2013/14 season , he moved to promoted ASA Târgu Mureş . There he reached the runner-up in 2015 .

Change to Italy

In the summer of 2015 Székely joined Seregno Calcio in the Italian Serie D . In the 2015/16 season he reached the play-offs for promotion to Serie C with his team , but was eliminated there in the second round.
