Jägerhaus is a locality in the mountainous city ​​of Wuppertal .

Location and description

The location is in the Erbschlö-Linde residential area of the Ronsdorf district at 290  m above sea level. NHN on both sides of the state road 58 (until January 1, 2008 federal road 51 ) north of the district Linde, west of Marscheid and east of the Blombachtal , in which the Wuppertal-Oberbarmen-Solingen railway line runs alongside the federal motorway 1 and that at Jägerhaus from the Blombachtalbrücke is spanned.

In addition to Linde and Marscheid, the localities Werbsiepen , Erbschlö and Blombach are adjacent . The Putschhaus residential area was merged into Jägerhaus in the second half of the 19th century. In the village, the state road 419 joins the state road 58.

history

Jägerhaus is labeled as Neuland on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 ; it is unlabeled on the Prussian first survey from 1840. From the Prussian new admission in 1892, it is regularly recorded with this name.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province from 1888, six houses with 70 inhabitants are given.

Jägerhaus was on the newly built Chaussee at the beginning of the 19th century , which led from Rittershausen over the Heckinghauser Zollbrücke and Lüttringhausen to Lennep , today's Landesstraße 58 (formerly Bundesstraße 51). The Blombachtalbrücke was built between 1957 and 1959.
