Józef Wodziński (also Josef von Wodzinski , * 1859 in Korytnica (today part of the rural community Trojanów in the Powiat Garwoliński ); † 1918 ) was a Polish genre and landscape painter who worked in Germany . In addition to oil painting, he provided templates for German and English illustrated sheets.

Wodziński began his painting apprenticeship with Wojciech Gerson and Aleksander Kamiński in Warsaw and continued it from 1878 to 1881 at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow . He then studied from October 10, 1881 to 1884 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Otto Seitz and further in Vienna . After graduating, he settled in Munich, after 1900 he came to Berlin .

From 1881 to 1897 he exhibited his works at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Cracow and at the Society for the Promotion of Fine Arts in Warsaw . In addition, since 1889 he was also at international exhibitions, u. a. in the Munich Glass Palace .
