history
During the municipal reform in 1971, the municipality was formed from the three cities of Jönköping, Gränna and Huskvarna , the market town ( köping ) Norrahammar and ten rural communities. At that time, Jönköping and Huskvarna had already grown together.

Description: There are three silver four-pinned towers in red on a seven-pinned silver wall with a half-drawn silver gate grille , the middle one is the higher one, on a blue wave shield base . All windows and archways are black.
