Jörg Lanzinger (born May 27, 1975 in Lauingen ad Donau , Bavaria ) is a German musician , music teacher and composer .

Life

In his childhood and adolescence, his musical training was characterized not only by classical lessons at the music school ( zither , trumpet , double bass ) but also by self-taught work ( dulcimer , electric bass , guitar ), which has a strong influence on his later professional career. After studying music pedagogy, musicology and communication studies (Magister) at the University of Augsburg for two semesters , he moved to the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich (now the Musikhochschule) in 1998 , where he graduated in 2003 as a certified folk music teacher with the right to teach folk music (Prof.Sepp Hornsteiner ), dulcimer (Prof. Birgit Stolzenburg) , zither (Prof. Georg Glasl ) and double bass (Prof. Caius Oana ).

As a student he was already booked as a speaker at seminars all over southern Germany and was able to gain international performance experience through numerous concert tours to the USA , Japan , Bulgaria , Slovakia and Scotland .

He has already released several albums with his ensembles ( Lanzinger Trio , dulcimer orchestra “Yellow Strings”, “G'scheitholt” and others) and is regularly featured on radio and television.

Jörg Lanzinger has also been composing music since his youth . While it was still the songwriting for his own rock bands in the beginning, his studies brought in sound theoretical knowledge of music into his work and so works of serious music and composed jazz have emerged. Meanwhile the focus is on music for the classroom. There are several self-published issues as well as with the publishers " Salteria " and " Musikverlag Richard Grünwald ".

Jörg Lanzinger is married and has three daughters. He lives with his family in his north Swabian home town of Syrgenstein (district of Dillingen an der Donau ).
