Nils Jörgen Sundqvist (born May 1, 1962 in Arvidsjaur , Norrbotten) is a former Swedish ski racer . From the mid-1980s, in the shadow of Ingemar Stenmark, he was one of the most consistent slalom and giant slalom riders in his country and took part twice in the Winter Olympics.

In the 1982/83 season Sundqvist won the overall and slalom classification of the Nor-Am Cup . He first drew attention to himself in the Alpine Ski World Cup in February 1983 when, at the age of 20, he scored his first World Cup points in a double race in Gällivare, home, with an 11th and an 8th place. A year later he achieved the only podium finish of his career with third place in a pre-Olympic giant slalom in Kirchberg in Tirol, Austria . Between 1983 and 1988 Sundqvist was able to finish in the top ten nine times in World Cup races.

For his home country he took part in the Winter Olympics in 1984 and 1988 . In 1985 and 1987 he was a participant in the Alpine World Ski Championships and from 1984 to 1988 he was four times Swedish champion .
