Jørundur Skógdrívsson

Jørundur Skógdrívsson or Jørund Skogdrivsson was Løgmaður of the Faroe Islands from 1479 to 1524 .

Jørundur is the first Løgmaður of the Faroe Islands, of whom we know the exact period of his term of office. He is mentioned in a letter dated May 2 or September 13, 1479. It used to be assumed that it was unclear who Løgmaður was before 1524, but in today's official Løgtings history Jørundur is mentioned as the first Løgmaður in a series handed down from then on.
