Roald (Løgmaður)

Roald was Løgmaður of the Faroe Islands around 1450 .

All we know about Roald is that he was a farmer in Dalur , but otherwise perhaps from the Shetland Islands .

In GVC Young's standard work From the Vikings to the Reformation 1979 (Danish Færøerne - fra vikingetiden til reformationen 1982) Roald is not yet mentioned, but he appears in today's list of Løgmenn in the official history book of Løgting .
