Jákup Jógvansson

Jákup Jógvansson or Jóanson was Løgmaður of the Faroe Islands from 1677 to 1679 .

Jákup was the son and successor of Løgmaður Jógvan Poulsen . He had been Sysselmann von Sandoy and Bauer on Dalsgarður in Skálavík before he took over the office of Løgmaður from his father in 1677. His successor in this office was Jóhan Hendrik Weyhe in 1679 , who was married to his sister Maren.
