Jewish cemetery (Kirchheim)
The Jewish cemetery Kirchheim is a Jewish cemetery in Kirchheim , a district of Euskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia . It lies between Kirchheim and Flamersheim on the left between fields. The Flamersheim Jewish cemetery is only a few hundred meters away. The cemetery has been on the list of monuments of the city of Euskirchen since 1988 .
history
The Jewish cemetery in Kirchheim was laid out in 1790 and expanded in 1856. It is 1167 m². The last burial took place in 1907. Today there are seven tombstones ( mazewot ).
The cemetery was devastated during and after the National Socialism . After the closure in 1907, the few Jews still living in Kirchheim buried their dead in Flamersheim.
