Jewish cemetery (Niedertiefenbach)

The Jewish cemetery Niedertiefenbach is a cemetery in the local community of Niedertiefenbach in the Rhein-Lahn district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It stands as a cultural monument under monument protection .

The Jewish cemetery is located northwest of the village on the edge of the forest in the Hasenbachtal between Ölmühle and Neumühle.

In the 1335 m² enclosed cemetery, which was probably laid out at the beginning of the 19th century, there are 28 tombstones from 1812 to 1937. In July 1985 the cemetery was desecrated : All tombstones were overturned and smeared with Nazi symbols.
