The Jewish cemetery Nassau is a Jewish cemetery in the city of Nassau in the Rhein-Lahn-Kreis ( Rhineland-Palatinate ). The cemetery, which is located on the federal road 417 from Nassau to Obernhof about 500 m outside of Nassau, is a protected cultural monument.

history

The cemetery was probably created at the end of the 18th century. The area of ​​the cemetery is 1361 m 2 . The cemetery consists of an old part, on which only a few tombstones ( mazewot ) have been preserved, and a newer part. There are still around 65 tombstones in total.
