The old Jewish cemetery Eisenstadt is located in the municipality of Eisenstadt in Burgenland . The Jewish cemetery is a listed building .
history
The oldest known dating of a stone in the cemetery is 1679. In 1875 the cemetery was fully occupied. An inventory in 1922 revealed 1,140 tombstones with exclusively Hebrew inscriptions. In 2010 there were 1104 tombstones in the cemetery.
