Jürgen Oldenburg

Jürgen Oldenburg (born December 3, 1926 in Altona ; † August 12, 1991 ) was a German teacher and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Oldenburg attended high school . After taking a supplementary course, he graduated from high school in 1947. He studied philosophy , education , German and English at the University of Hamburg . In 1954 he passed the state examination for higher education and worked as a teacher, most recently as director of studies at the Holstenschule and in the study seminar in Neumünster.

In 1957 he joined the SPD. In 1962 he was elected to the local council of Einfeld , of which he was a member until 1970. After Einfeld was incorporated into Neumünster , he was a member of Neumünster's city council from April 1970.

In May 1971 he entered the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament via the SPD state list . He was a member of the agricultural committee and the committee for youth issues as well as a deputy member in other committees of the state parliament. At the end of the electoral term, Oldenburg left the state parliament in May 1975.

Oldenburg was married and had two children.
