Jürgen Vocke

Jürgen Vocke (born April 23, 1943 in Jena ) is a German lawyer and Bavarian state politician ( CSU ), who was temporarily a member of the Bavarian State Parliament and was President of the Bavarian Hunting Association (BJV) from 1994 to 2019 .

education and profession

Jürgen Vocke studied after high school from 1964 to 1969 law and a doctorate during his training period 1969 to 1972 for Dr. jur. After graduating, he worked for the Bavarian Finance Administration from 1993 and as a judge at the tax court from 1981 . He has been the deputy presiding judge since 1973. Between 1975 and 1998 he was a lecturer at universities in Germany and abroad for tax law , including an honorary professor at the Munich University of Applied Sciences .

Private life

Jürgen Vocke is a Roman Catholic , married and has three children. He lives in Ebersberg.

politics

Jürgen Vocke has been a CSU member since 1996. On September 28, 1998 he became a member of the Bavarian State Parliament , where he became a member of the Committee for Environment and Consumer Protection , a member of the Committee for Agriculture and Forests and a member of the Judges' Election Commission . He was no longer available for election to the state parliament in Bavaria in 2008 .

Other offices

Jürgen Vocke was president of the Bavarian Hunting Association (BJV) from 1994 to 2019 , of which he had been a member of the executive committee since 1990, and from 1981 to 1997 he was chairman of the Ebersberg district group and from 2002 to 2006 chairman of the BJV district chairman of Upper Bavaria . Under his chairmanship, the BJV left the German Hunting Protection Association (DJV) at the end of 2009 . Vocke had previously been a member of the executive committee of the DJV since 1994 and was also vice-president of the DJV from 1995.

In addition, he has been chairman of the board of directors of Wildlandgesellschaft mbH since 1994, chairman of the founding and administrative board of the German Hunting and Fishing Museum in Munich since 1996 and chairman of the Bavarian Academy for Animal Welfare, Environment and Hunting Science. In addition, he was a member of the Supreme Hunting Advisory Board since 1995 and a member of the Supreme Nature Conservation Council of the Free State of Bavaria since 2006. Jürgen Vocke was also chairman of the Ebersberger Forest Protection Association and a member of the Bavarian State Forests Advisory Board .

He is chairman of the district group Ebersberg of the association Lebenshilfe eV , since 2004 member of the advisory board of ADAC Südbayern and advisory board member of the Bayernbund .

criticism

As early as 2005, accusations were made against Vocke that, as President of the Bavarian State Hunting Association, he was paying completely excessive expense allowances. He is also said to have given a journalist a lucrative consultancy contract just to secure his goodwill.

In 2019, the accusations against Vocke intensified during the audit by an auditor. Jürgen Vocke was reported to the Munich public prosecutor's office on suspicion of breach of trust and embezzlement. In mid-October 2019, Vocke announced his premature resignation from the office of association president.
