Jürgen Warmke-Rose

Jürgen Warmke-Rose (* 1961 in Hamburg ) is a Hamburg politician (non-party, formerly CDU ) and a former member of the Hamburg Parliament . From 2007 to 2013 he was District Office Manager in Hamburg-Altona . He took his name again Warmke in 2013 .

Career

Warmke-Rose is a lawyer . While serving as a Member of Parliament , he graduated in criminology . After his work in the citizenry, he was, among other things, head of the district office in the tax authority.

politics

He was a member of the Hamburg parliament in the 14th electoral term from 1991 to 1993. For the CDU parliamentary group he sat in the budget committee, health committee and the committee for labor and social affairs. In 1993 he left the CDU.

In the summer of 2007, with the votes of the black-green coalition, he was elected district manager of Altona and thus as the successor to Hinnerk Fock, who was deposed with a vote of no confidence . He had already applied for the position of the Altona district office manager in 2002, but was defeated by Uwe Hornauer (SPD) at the time. After six years in office, Warmke-Rose went into temporary retirement in July 2013. Liane Melzer (SPD) was elected as his successor .
