Pacific Life Open 2007 / men

The Pacific Life Open 2007 was a tennis tournament that took place from March 7th to 18th, 2007 in Indian Wells . It was part of the ATP Tour 2007 and was played on a hard court. This season it was the first of nine tournaments in the ATP Masters Series category .

Defending champion was Roger Federer , who failed in the second round to Guillermo Cañas . In the final, Rafael Nadal and Novak Đoković faced each other, with the Spaniard celebrating his first title in Indian Wells.

The field of participants consisted of 96 players. The 32 top seeded players each got a bye into the second round. After Xavier Malisse's withdrawal due to injury , Olivier Rochus took over as a seeded player. The total prize pool was $ 3,169,600.
