The Jablanica ( kyrill : Јабланица) is a river in western Serbia . The Jablanica is together with the Obnica a source river of the Kolubara .
River course
The Jablanica rises on the eastern slopes of the Jablanik mountain. The river flows through the village of Jovanja west of Valjevo . After 21.5 km, just one kilometer before the town of Valjevo, the Jablanica flows together with the Obnica , forming the Kolubara River . The catchment area is 148 km² and the mean flow velocity is 2 m³ / s.
A modern asphalt road leads through the Jablanica valley from Valjevo over Povlen to the village of Rogačica , then to the town of Bajina Bašta , which lies on the Drina , over the Tara mountain , to the village of Kremna in the Opština Užice to the Bosnian city of Višegrad .
