Francisco da Costa Menezes Jackson , called Jackson Caucaia , (born May 21, 1987 in Itabuna ) is a Brazilian football player . The right footer is used alternatively in the defensive or central midfield.

Career

Jackson Caucaia started his professional career in 2008 at the lower class Caucaia EC in his hometown. After changing clubs in the lower leagues several times, the player came to Atlético Mineiro in Belo Horizonte in 2010 . With this he played games in the top Brazilian division . He made his debut on August 7, 2010 against Botafogo FR , when he came on in the 81st minute. Four more missions followed. In 2011 he started with Atlético in the state championship of Minas Gerais and the Copa do Brasil . Then he came to no further missions and was loaned to the Série C Club Fortaleza EC for the 2012 season.

Fortaleza took over Jackson Caucaia completely from 2013. The next he went to Ituano FC . With the club he ran in the state championship of São Paulo . In the competition you could beat FC Santos in the final and Jackson Caucaia celebrate his first title. With Ituano he went after in the Série D. Even during the current season Caucaia was at the CA Bragantino in the Série B borrowed. Here he played one game and one in the national cup.

At the beginning of 2015 he was back at Ituano and the Campeonato Paulista. After the competition, Jackson Caucaia was loaned to Série A at the CR Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro . The loan ended in the summer of that year and the player made a permanent move from Ituano to Náutico Capibaribe in the Série B. At the beginning of 2016, Jackson Caucaia came back to the Série A with another move, to Figueirense FC . He made his first with the club Games at international club level. In the Copa Sudamericana 2016 he ran against Flamengo Rio de Janeiro on August 25, 2016 .

After Figueirense had to relegate to the Série B at the end of the 2016 season , Jackson Caucaia left the club. He went to league rivals Ceará SC . He has been without a contract since August 2018. For the 2019 national championships he was under contract with ABC Natal . After a stopover at Ferroviário AC (CE) , he played eight more games in the Copa Fares Lopes for Caucaia.
