Jacky Ravenel

Jacques "Jacky" Ravenel (born December 2, 1944 in Noyen-sur-Sarthe ) is a former French racing driver .

Racing career

Jacky and his brother Jean-Louis , born in 1943 , were known as the Ravenel Fréres in France in the 1970s . The two had two other brothers and a sister. Her father ran a company that manufactured wooden parts for chalets . He was also a member of a jazz formation called Sparks , which had nothing to do with the American rock band of the same name .

Jacky Ravenel was not as talented as his older brother and primarily competed in circuit racing. He competed in the Tour de France for automobiles , the 24-hour race of Spa-Francorchamps and the 24-hour race of Le Mans . He drove the 24 Hours of Le Mans three times, with the best result in 1977 when he was fourth overall.
