Jacob Gunkel
Jacob Gunkel (born February 1, 1994 ) is a German actor .
Life
Since the beginning of September 2009 Gunkel has played the role of Phillip Gubisch in the children's and youth series Schloss Einstein . He was one of the new lead actors introduced in the series' 13th season in January 2010. This was Gunkel's television debut. In December 2012, he left the series.
In January 2012 he stood in front of the camera for an episode role as Timo Ernst in the ARD television series In allerfreund (In all friendship) , which was first broadcast in April 2012. In the 2nd season of the ARD crime series Heiter bis tödlich: Akt Ex (2013) he took on a supporting role as a student at the side of Theo Trebs and the two main actors. In the student project The First Stone with the main actors Michel Diercks and Matthias Zera , which premiered in June 2014, Gunkel played Clemens alongside Paul Ziegner .
In June 2016, Gunkel was again in front of the camera for Schloss Einstein for the 20th season . In the anniversary season, in which other former actors of the series could also be seen in cameo appearances, Gunkel played the cellmate of the series character Remo Vage ( Damian Thüne ).
Gunkel attended the Edith Stein School in Erfurt , where he graduated from high school in 2012. From 2014 to 2017 he initially studied political science , law and management at the University of Erfurt , where he did his bachelor's degree . Since 2018 he has been studying sports economics at the University of Bayreuth . After various internships, Gunkel has been working as a student trainee at the Bayreuth Tigers since summer 2019 .
Gunkel lives in Zimmersupra near Erfurt and in Bayreuth .
