Jacob Seiff
Jacob Seiff (born November 1, 1784 in Zweibrücken , † June 5, 1851 in Würzburg ) was a Bavarian musician, composer and military music master .
Jacob Seiff came from a family of musicians who were in the service of the Counts of Pfalz-Zweibrücken . His father and older brother taught him music. On June 1, 1802, he joined the Electoral Bavarian Artillery - Regiment in Munich in. In 1811 he became music master and head of the music corps of the Royal Bavarian 1st Infantry Regiment "König" in Munich.
After he retired in 1839 , he worked as a cashier in Würzburg, where he died twelve years later at the age of 66.
