After being under the wing of Gordy, first releases quickly followed, including their first single Run Dat Back , a song from their subsequent debut album, which was produced by Kerry Gordy , another son of the Motown founder, and Tricky Stewart at Epic Records . As her mentor from this early stage as a professional singer, Smokey Robinson , who was instrumental in the Motown successes, appeared. Their single Run Dat Back also found its way onto EMI Records ' 42nd edition of Now That's What I Call Music! , on which only well-known performers were represented.

In September 2014, she signed a contract with West Gate, LLC. , in which she was guaranteed five album releases and had her name registered as a trademark . Immediately afterwards, another single was released with Boom Boom Boom .
