Jakob Kroher

Jakob Kroher (born December 13, 1863 in Eschenbach in the Upper Palatinate , † December 7, 1958 in Ingolstadt ) was a German lawyer and politician.

Career

After studying, Kroher worked as a legal advisor in Amberg. In 1896 he was appointed legally qualified mayor in Ingolstadt and in 1899 he was appointed mayor for life (from 1918 mayor). From 1899 to 1932 he was a member of the district assembly of Upper Bavaria and acted as secretary and from 1919 to 1932 as district assembly president. On January 31, 1917, he replaced the late Georg von Orterer in the Bavarian state parliament, to which he was a member until the establishment of the Soviet republic .

After the Second World War he was a member of the Ingolstadt City Council from 1946 to 1948 as a member of the CSU .

Kroher was a member of the Catholic student association KBStV Rhaetia Munich .
